Week Eight: (H) Give as Many High-Five's as Possible.

Week Seven: (G) GO BANANAS!!!
Starting this post off with a bit of honesty: I hate bananas.
Well, I'd really like to like bananas. I'd like to even just be able to tolerate them. But I can't. They actually nauseate me. To the point of near vomit.
Now that that's out in the open, you should know that this week's challenge- as vague as it is- was particularly... well... challenging.
Through a funny turn of events, though, I accomplished this task.
As I was watching some kids (ages 1-7) the other night, we started a conversation about what animal/inanimate object each of us were. The first couple kids were dogs, apples, etc. When it came to my turn, however, I was told I look like "a banana peach ice cream cake." I've quite literally "gone bananas.

Week Six: (F) Find Something Odd at a Store.
Okay, so I didn't really go to the store this week, but, I did what I could. That being said, the only thing "odd" about my find was the oddity in how awesome it is.
I went to Goodwill, one of my favorite places on this Earth, and though there were many "odd" things within that store-- small figurines of old men, strange Halloween costumes, the usual-- I couldn't find anything worthy enough for this week's challenge. I had picked up a pair of jeans (for I am in desperate need for them) and was looking though the vases and house decorations when I stumbled upon two of my favorite books. I picked them up and went to the register to ask about the price.
Ladies and Gentlemen, I bought The Hunger Games for $0.89 and Catching Fire for $1.79. Goodwill trip = successful. Funnily enough, they are the first two books that I actually "own." Though I have a whole big bookshelf full of assorted books- most of them theological- these were the first books I've ever bought with my own money. I feel quite accomplished in life.
