Okay, so I didn't really go to the store this week, but, I did what I could. That being said, the only thing "odd" about my find was the oddity in how awesome it is.
I went to Goodwill, one of my favorite places on this Earth, and though there were many "odd" things within that store-- small figurines of old men, strange Halloween costumes, the usual-- I couldn't find anything worthy enough for this week's challenge. I had picked up a pair of jeans (for I am in desperate need for them) and was looking though the vases and house decorations when I stumbled upon two of my favorite books. I picked them up and went to the register to ask about the price.
Ladies and Gentlemen, I bought
The Hunger Games for $0.89 and
Catching Fire for $1.79. Goodwill trip = successful. Funnily enough, they are the first two books that I actually "own." Though I have a whole big bookshelf full of assorted books- most of them theological- these were the first books I've ever bought with my own money. I feel quite accomplished in life.
Well, until next week.....
